We wait all year round for the best time to play golf and it’s finally here!

Now that we’re well into May, the days are the longest and warmest we’ve had this year to date, which means we can finally play in lighter clothing. We have some fantastic ladies clothing brands available through us, and the summer collection from Glenmuir is not to be overlooked!

We appreciate that as golfers we all have different clothing tastes and styles, and that some clothes will grab us more than others. Glenmuir knows this better than anyone so we’ve put together two outfits using clothing from their Summer 2023 range to give you an idea of the kind of golf apparel that will soon be available in the pro shop.

Bright and colourful

Summer is the perfect time of year for making the most out of our golfing wardrobe. If you love rich and sparkly designs, you’ll love our first outfit. The Frankie Sleeveless top is a vivid amethyst colour with a dark navy on the sides and quarter zip. These navy patches are studded with a white floral print which adds to the character of the top.

When things get colder out on the course, you’ll be thankful to be reaching for the Carina mid-layer in your bag. This pullover from Glenmuir goes nicely with the Frankie top, it has a similar silver studded pattern on the sides and inner sleeves. The quarter zip is lined with an obvious grey colour and the garment is perfect for layering.

Subtle statement

Many golfers prefer to wear darker and more neutral apparel, and if that sounds like you, Glenmuir have a wonderful selection prepared. The Teri polo is a classic navy and white combo that’s perfect for any golfing occasion. Navy covers the torso with stripes of white covering the sides. The collar and hems of the sleeves are a tasteful grey, and the Glenmuir ladies logo appears on the waist.

The perfect companion for the Teri polo is the Molly zip neck sweater. While they’re a similar navy colour, the sweater has a subtle crossed stitching on the front that makes up a diamond pattern. The mid-layer also has highlights of white and silver on the collar and hems of the wrists. You’ll stay warm and cosy all day long wearing this snug sweater.
